The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Porto, surrounded by historical landmarks and close to the old port, making it perfect for exploring the city. The service provided by the staff is exceptional, with their kindness and helpfulness shining through. The dining experience offers delicious and beautifully presented meals, albeit at a reasonable charge for some locations. However, the initial room temperature in early March might be a bit cold, and at times, rooms were not ready upon arrival.

Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience. My room had a small Portuguese balcony and a double-glazing balcony door that effectively reduced the street noise. Being situated on the top floor, I enjoyed a lovely view and surprisingly peaceful nights, despite facing the street. The room was cozy and sufficient for me, but it might be a bit tight for a couple with large luggage.

The rooms are equipped with a built-in shower, offering a cozy stay for solo travelers. While the service was excellent in resolving issues promptly, the ongoing building works around the property and adjacent buildings were a minor inconvenience. The location shines with easy access to the city center and the charming house atmosphere, but the dining options might be a tad overpriced for what is offered.
